Launched in 2024, B+ Well is a one-day conference for the bisexual, pansexual, and fluid community to promote emotional, physical, sexual, and cultural wellness and healing. This year's conference will take place on May 3rd at the Los Angeles LGBT Center with a virtual option for select programs.

Capri Campeau is a queer actor, writer, and social media creator dedicated to empowering the LGBTQ+ community—especially bisexuals. Since 2020, Capri has been creating content to help bisexuals feel more confident in their queerness, amassing over 154,000 followers on Instagram and 350,000 followers on TikTok, where their videos have reached millions of viewers. @capricampeau.

An in-depth exploration of the state of film and TV, and discussion of how you can impact the future of Bi+ representation in storytelling.
Workshop Presenters:
Christina Fialho (she/her) is an award-winning social entrepreneur, attorney, and activist who has been advocating for LGBTQ+ issues for nearly two decades. She is the founder and president of Rewrite the BiLine, which is social enterprise working to change the narrative on bi+ people and non-nuclear families in film, television, and the media. Christina currently serves on the boards of It Gets Better and Still Bisexual and has been recognized with prestigious honors, including the John F. Kennedy New Frontier Award, the James Irvine Leadership Award, an Ashoka Fellowship, and an Echoing Green Fellowship.
Aaron Hammersley has worked in film and television in a variety of production roles including producer and assistant director for all major studios and production companies. In between productions, he has event managed over 80 Hollywood film premieres. In 2022, he joined the team at Walt Disney Studios, Motion Picture Production. Aaron is also an outspoken advocate for the LGBTQ+ community including working for more inclusive representation in front and behind the camera.

Workshop Description:
A foundational workshop for anyone curious about or currently practicing ENM. This session explores key relationship structures, communication strategies, and common challenges in non-monogamy. We’ll discuss consent, boundaries, jealousy, and the differences between ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, and other relationship styles. Whether you're new to ENM or refining your approach, this workshop offers a supportive, affirming space to learn, ask questions, and build relationships with intention, honesty, and care.

Ofelia Saba Ramírez, AMFT, APCC, is a queer, biracial therapist specializing in ethical non-monogamy (ENM), gender-affirming care, and relational therapy. With over 20 years of lived experience practicing ENM, she brings both personal insight and professional expertise to her work with polyamorous and non-monogamous individuals and couples. Ofelia has led workshops on polyamory, BDSM, gender, and sexuality, and is passionate about helping clients build ethical, fulfilling relationships beyond monogamous norms. She serves on the boards of the LA Chapter of the California Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (LA-CAMFT) and the California Association for Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (CALPCC), advocating for inclusivity and mental health accessibility in therapeutic spaces.

Workshop Description:
Let's talk about how your mind, heart, and body can be shaped by hetero- and cis-normative gender roles and beauty standards and learn how to cultivate identity pride and joy by knowing yourself, loving yourself, and expressing yourself. We will cover eating disorders, body image, and mental health through psychoeducation, storytelling, handouts, and activities.

Mimi Hoang, Ph.D. is an award-winning clinical psychologist, life coach, and educator specializing in the LGBTQ+ and Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. As a trailblazing bi+ community organizer since the 1990s, she co-founded the Los Angeles Bi+ Task Force (LABTF), amBi Los Angeles, and Fluid at UCLA, authored multiple publications and spoke at the White House on bi+ mental health. Affectionately nicknamed the “Bi Godmother," Dr. Mimi is the creator of the "Bi on Life" and "Bi on Love" coaching series and is a leading expert on bi+ affirmative mental health. She currently works in private practice, is the Program Coordinator of the LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy Center at Airport Marina Counseling Service, and a professor of Marriage and Family Therapy at USC, and serves on the LABTF Board, the Division VII Board of the California Psychological Association, and on the Expert Review Board of Fluid Health.

Erin Tillman, CSE (she/her), CEO of Relational Equity Group, is a Certified Intimacy Coordinator, Certified Sex Educator, inclusive Dating & Consent Empowerment Coach, Consultant, Author, Speaker, and TV/Radio/Podcast Host based in LA. Erin has training and certifications in the areas of sexuality education, DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging), Mental Health First Aid, and Kink/BDSM. For over 10 years, she has been dedicated to empowering singles in all lifestyle and identity categories to have enjoyable dating lives, relationships, and partnerships through personal development and boundary-setting techniques. Erin’s TV/Film Intimacy Coordination credits include projects for ABC, BET, CBS, FX, Hulu, Paramount+, Peacock, and Searchlight Pictures to name a few.

Alexis Mendez identifies as a bisexual and biracial woman. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist as well as an integration coach. She has specialized in helping people heal from trauma in her work as an associate and licensed therapist for the past five years. She leads trauma informed yoga classes and guided meditations to help people connect to their bodies through movement, breathe, and visualizations. She focuses on helping people connect to their authentic selves and feel empowered to embrace themselves fully. She believes in the mind-body-spirit connection and encourages people to connect to their innate wisdom.
Brandon Burciaga (he/him)

In this session, Brandon will explore how dance supports physical, emotional, and cultural well-being, while encouraging authenticity beyond gender and identity stereotypes. You’ll learn how movement can be a powerful tool for healing and empowerment, regardless of experience, body type, or knowledge level. Come embrace your true self and experience how dance can foster connection, wellness, and confidence!

Brandon is a professional dancer, choreographer, actor, model, and creative director with over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Passionate about the art of movement, he has performed alongside legends like Kool & the Gang and Kylie Minogue and had his choreography span a wide range of projects—from music videos to large-scale events such as a PBS Christmas TV

After breakfast, leaders from the B+ Well team and LABTF Board of Directors will kickoff the day in Pride Hall with a big welcome and to share our mission and values, and set intentions for the day.
Our exciting keynote panel - "Intersectionality of Bi+ Health and Wellness" features prominent speakers Dr. Tania Israel (she/her), Vincent Paz-Macareno (he/him), and Capri Campeau (they/she), moderated by Dr. Danielle Samuel (she/her). The keynote will take place in Pride Hall. Virtual option available.
After the keynote panel, we will have a breakout session falling into our three tracks: emotional, physical, and cultural wellness. The workshops will take place in Pride Hall and next store at the senior center.
Lunch will be provided in Pride Hall and is a great opportunity to mingle with other attendees and check out our resource fair so you can learn more about available community resources.

The conference will be held at two locations: the Anita May Rosenstein Campus (AMRC) and next door at the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Senior Center.

We're excited to offer a virtual option for the keynote panel in the auditorium (Pride Hall) for those who can't attend in-person. Registered ticketholders will receive the zoom link by email prior to the date.
Most of our activities are indoors alongside 100+ attendees. We strongly recommend getting current vaccinations per CDC guidelines. People are welcome to wear a mask for any reason. If you feel ill or test positive for COVID, please stay home.
