B+ Well 2026

Our 3rd annual wellness conference for the bisexual, pansexual, and fluid community

We held a stellar speakers line-up and a full day of learning, healing, and connection with bi+ individuals and allies in Los Angeles and beyond. The event included breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon mixer, plus a resource fair so that attendees could connect with local wellness resources.

Dr. Marge Charmoli is a psychologist in private practice in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She has been active in the bi+ community for over 35 years and has educated  local, state, and national audiences on bisexuality. In 1989 as a member of the City of St. Paul Human Rights Commission she authored an ordinance to protect people on the basis of 

Dr. Marge Charmoli is a psychologist in private practice in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She has been active in the bi+ community for over 35 years and has educated  local, state, and national audiences on bisexuality. In 1989 as a member of the City of St. Paul Human Rights Commission she authored an ordinance to protect people on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity which became the strongest human rights ordinance in the nation. She has produced and co-hosted Bi Cities, a cable TV show dedicated to increasing bi+ visibility.  Over 305 of its episodes are archived in the Tretter Collection at the University of Minnesota and can be accessed at www.bicities.org.

He previously served as Interim Executive Director of LAHSA and was a Principal at The Raben Group, focusing on disability, justice, voting rights, and domestic v

Stephen David Simon is Executive Director and General Manager of the Los Angeles Department on Disability, ensuring City programs and facilities are accessible to all residents. He previously served as Interim Executive Director of LAHSA and was a Principal at The Raben Group, focusing on disability, justice, voting rights, and domestic violence. He also served as the City’s AIDS Coordinator and currently sits on the Foundation for The AIDS Monument Executive Board. He holds JD and BA degrees from UCLA.

Tara Madison Avery is a transgender cartoonist, editor, and the publisher of Stacked Deck Press. She is the creator of the bisexual-themed webcomic Gooch, a contributor to Anything That Loves: Comics Beyond Gay and Straight, and a former President of the Los Angeles Bi+ Task Force. Avery is also a board member of Prism Comics, a nonprofit

Since the 1990s, she co-founded three bi+ orgs – LABTF, amBi Los Angeles, and Fluid at UCLA. Dr. Mimi earned a seat at the landmark 2013 White House Bisexual Community Roundtable which sparked h

Our conference includes an all-day resource fair for local wellness and advocacy-related resources. Organizations must pay a small set-up fee for participation in the resource fair. Please complete the interest form. The deadline is now extended to Apr 17th.

 We need enthusiastic (and strong) volunteers to help with set-up, registration, etc. Volunteers will receive FREE admission but must be able to commit in advance and attend 2 virtual preparatory meetings. Please sign-up below by Apr 15th.

  • Minimize food waste: Take home what you don’t eat. Feel free to bring a take-home container.
