B+ Well Conference

Welcome to B+ Well 2026

We invite you to our 3rd annual wellness conference for the bisexual, pansexual, and fluid community

We promise a stellar speakers line-up and a full day of learning, healing, and connection with bi+ individuals and allies in Los Angeles and beyond. The event includes breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon mixer, plus a resource fair so that attendees can be connected with local wellness resources.

This is a community retreat-style event and not an academic conference, so we encourage casual attire (though you may dress up if you wish!). We also offer a live stream option for those who can't attend in-person.

"Mixed-Orientation Relationships: Building Wellness Through the MOR Model"

Workshop Description:

Join Candice and Keith Parnell, founders of MORandmore.org, as they introduce a simple framework (MOR) for decoding common pressure points in mixed-orientation relationships. The majority of the session will focus on guided reflection, discussion, and applied exercises that participants can immediately use in their own relationships. The tone of the session is conversational and grounded in lived experience. We model healthy dialogue as a couple and invite participants into low-risk, structured interaction rather than open-ended vulnerability. No one is required to share personal details publicly. Attendees will leave not only with insight but with specific language, reflection questions, and relationship practices they can implement immediately.

Workshop Presenters:

Keith Parnell (he/him) is a bisexual writer and digital producer. As co-founder of MOR&more, his contributions aim to destigmatize mixed orientation relationships and fight preconceived notions of bisexuality through applied personal experience and purposeful visibility.

Candice Parnell, RN, MCLC (she/her), is a Master Certified Life Coach, LGBTQ+ ally, and relational wellness advocate. As founder and lead facilitator of MOR&More, she supports individuals and couples navigating mixed orientation relationships worldwide, cultivating communities that foster growth and compassionate support.

"Burned Out Isn’t Broken: Burnout, Identity, and Bisexual Joy"

Workshop Description:

Burnout is often framed as a personal failure, but for bisexual people it’s often shaped by years of adapting, constantly explaining their identity, and shifting across spaces. In this interactive workshop, Geri-Lynn Cesar offers a grounded, compassionate look at burnout through the lens of self-trust. Together, we’ll explore how identity strain can lead to exhaustion, and how bisexual joy can emerge when there’s more room to be whole. This session combines self-reflection with practical tools for navigating burnout.

Workshop Presenter:

Geri-Lynn Cesar (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, adjunct professor, and Medical Social Worker at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. With over a decade of nonprofit experience serving LGBTQ+ communities, her clinical and teaching work focuses on the mental health of queer people, minority stress, identity development, and burnout. She specializes in translating therapeutic frameworks into accessible, real-world tools that support self-trust, regulation, and integration. Geri-Lynn is also the co-founder of creative studio Visionary Media Labs and co-host of the podcast Unpacking the Closet, where she explores identity, mental health, and self-expression through candid conversation.

"Patriarchy is the Enemy of Intimacy: Power Differentials in Inter-Cultural Couples"

Workshop Description:

Every couple is inter-cultural. We are often bringing together diverse gender identities, sexualities, cultural backgrounds, relationship styles, specifics of class, ability, and more. Understanding how to navigate power differentials is especially important for the bi+ communities, as we sit at the intersection of many worlds, therefore often bearing added layers of relational stress. This workshop aims to equip attendees with practical skills for reflection and implementation in yourselves and your relationships, so you can address the elephants in the room.

Workshop Presenter:

Sara Stanizai (she/her) is a licensed therapist who founded Prospect Therapy to create a queer- and trans-affirming practice that focuses specifically on serving first-generation American and immigrant communities. As a queer Afghan-American herself, Sara is primarily a couples therapist, and has been practicing for 15 years. Sara was also a former President of the Los Angeles Bi+ Task Force.
